Local Projects

We have collection boxes for eyeglasses and hearing aids throughout the community.

We help collect donations annually during the 4th of July parade in Saugatuck for that year’s fireworks display.

We adopt local township or city parks in need of attention (yard maintenance, fixing fences, overall brush clean-up, etc.) and maintain over 2 mile stretch of state highway I-196.

We also established an Educational Foundation and annually give out scholarships to graduating seniors from our local high school.

Fund Raisers

We conduct a raffle each year with two mopeds as the top prize.

In 2007, we added a one-day fishing trip as second prize and a one-year subscription for satellite radio (and a portable satellite radio).

We also have Lions mint displays located throughout the community.

Donate your old Eyeglasses

Drop-off boxes are located at the Douglas Post Office, the Saugatuck Post Office, Dr. Annis Office located at the Weathervane Mall in Douglas, and Christian Neighbors on St. Peter’s Drive in Douglas.
