	Officer Training 2010 Allendale, MI The Club Officer Training Session on May 15th is being held in the Manitou Hall, Room 120, on the campus of Grand Valley State University. There will be training (with breaks) from 9:00 a.m. until noon with classes for Presidents/Vice Presidents, Secretary/Treasurers, and the Directors (with special emphasis on the Membership portion). We will hold training later for the Zone/Region Chairs, if needed, as I believe most of them are repeating. This should be a fun morning with the training coming direct from LCI leadership division files and the trainers are well-versed in the nuances of the positions they will instruct. Even if you have been a club officer for several terms, you can pass on your knowledge and experience to those that are just becoming an officer, maybe for the first time. You veterans have a lot to offer! We can all learn something and insure a VERY GOOD Lions Year for our clubs and our district. See the GVSU campus map for Manitou Hall (#42 on the map). 	Grand Rapids Lions Present...Drive for Vision Quail Ridge Golf Grand Rapids, MI A fund raising event that directly benefits the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI) and Cherry Street Health Services Vision Program. The Grand Rapids Lions, in conjunction with our sponsors Grand Rapids Ophthalmology and Art Optical, will raise funds to support the many programs that aid the visually impaired as well as the under-served in our community.
