On Friday, August 13, Betty Erickson Cutler, wife of the late PDG Granville Cutler, passed away from complications of long-term dementia. We extend our sympathy to their daughter, Dr. Mary Louise Cutler, of Minneapolis, MN and family.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, at 11AM. Internment with her husband will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery at 1PM. Visitation is scheduled Tuesday, August 17, from 6-8PM at Langland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 Burdick St.

An Appreciation Brunch for IPDG Robert D Schalow is being held on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the First Lutheran Church in Muskegon. The church is located at 2306 N. Whitehall Road, Muskegon, MI 49445. Brunch will start at 11AM and will cost $10.00 per person.

This will be a time for IPDG Bob to thank all those hard working Lions from District 11-C1 who made this a very successful year.
